Caterpillar Relay Race
This fun and easy team relay race will leave your participants full of energy and excited about the workshop. By simply standing one behind the other with each person's hands on the hips or shoulders of the person in front of him/her, this "caterpillar" becomes difficult to maneuver between obstacles.

Materials per team:

  • 5 obstacles (i.e., cones, dots, "mushrooms")

To do:

  • Each team forms a line with hands on hips of person in front of him/her.
  • The entire line must go in and out of 5-10 cones ("mushrooms") and back to its staring point before the other team.
  • If anyone in the team lets go of the person in front of him/her, the entire team must begin again.
